Inspection & Safety
Service ReportItemised report of your bike's condition, wear and recommended repairs, so you know what's been done and what's coming up.
Safety CheckFrame, fork, handlebar, stem and seatpost checked for cracks, play and alignment; brakes and drivetrain checked for safe operation.
Tyre Inspection & InflationTyres inflated to the correct pressure for rider and terrain; tread, sidewalls and rim tape inspected for wear or damage.
Quick Bolt CheckKey fasteners (stem, bars, seatpost, wheels, cranks, racks) checked for tightness. – – –
Full Torque CheckEvery fastener tightened to manufacturer torque specification using a torque wrench, including carbon-sensitive parts. –
Test RideBike ridden and shifted through the gears and brakes after the service to confirm everything works as it should. –
Brakes
Brake AdjustmentCallipers centred and levers adjusted for firm, even braking; cable tension or hydraulic lever feel set correctly.
Brake Pad / Rotor InspectionPads and rim or rotor surfaces measured for wear and glazing; contamination checked; pads replaced if needed (parts extra). –
Brake Pad Clean & Rotor DegreaseRotors and pads cleaned to remove oil and road film, restoring bite and removing squeal. – –
Hydraulic Brake Bleed (Both Brakes)Fluid flushed and replaced to remove air and moisture, restoring consistent lever feel. Disc brake bikes only. – – –
Gears & Drivetrain
Gear AdjustmentIndexing tuned so shifts are crisp across the whole cassette; limit screws set; derailleur hanger alignment checked.
Chain LubricationChain wiped and lubricated with a lube suited to the conditions you ride in.
Chain Wear MeasurementChain measured for stretch to catch wear early and protect the cassette and chainrings from premature damage. –
Drivetrain Clean & DegreaseChain, cassette, chainrings and derailleur pulleys cleaned and degreased, then re-lubricated. –
Gear Cable Check / LubricationCables and outer housing inspected for fraying, kinks and friction; cables lubricated at the pivot points. –
Full Drivetrain Strip & RebuildChain, cassette, chainrings and derailleurs removed, ultrasonically or hand cleaned, inspected, re-greased and rebuilt. – –
Brake & Gear Cable / Housing ReplacementNew inner cables and outer housing fitted for light, smooth shifting and braking. Cable and housing parts are charged separately. – –
Wheels, Bearings & Steering
Wheel True CheckBoth wheels spun on a truing stand and checked for wobble and hop; spoke tension assessed. –
Wheel Truing (Both Wheels)Lateral and radial true corrected and spoke tension evened out for a smooth, straight-running wheel. – –
Headset & Bottom Bracket CheckSteering and crank bearings checked for play, roughness and adjustment; adjusted where needed. –
Hub Bearing ServiceHubs opened, cleaned, inspected, re-greased and adjusted to run smooth with no play. – –
Headset & Bottom Bracket OverhaulBearings removed, cleaned, inspected and re-greased, with threads and faces prepped and reassembled to spec. – – –
Tubeless Sealant RefreshOld sealant removed and fresh sealant added to both tyres. Tubeless set-ups only; sealant included. – – –
Finish & Extras
Frame Wipe DownFrame, fork and components wiped down and left clean. –
Full Bike Wash & DegreaseWhole bike washed and degreased, including frame, fork, wheels and cockpit. – –
Suspension Check & AdjustmentSag, rebound and lockout set for your weight and riding style; seals wiped and checked. Full suspension overhauls quoted separately. – – –
Frame Polish & ProtectFrame and fork polished and protected so the bike leaves the workshop looking its best. – – –
Free Re-Check Within 14 DaysBring the bike back within 14 days for a free re-adjustment of brakes and gears as the new parts settle in. – – –

Frequency is a guide; bikes ridden in wet, dusty or heavy-use conditions benefit from more frequent servicing. Hydraulic bleed and tubeless sealant apply to bikes with disc brakes and tubeless tyres respectively.

Turnaround depends on the service level and how busy the workshop is. We always confirm the exact timeframe when you book.

Yes — all service prices are labour only. If your bike needs replacement parts, we quote you first — no hidden costs, ever.

Basic suits routine maintenance every 3–6 months. Standard is ideal every 6 months. Premium is for yearly servicing, and Ultra is a full workshop rebuild for bikes not serviced in 12–24 months or 3,000+ km. Not sure? Just contact us.

Not currently. We service road, MTB, commuter, hybrid, folding, kids, and BMX bikes. Contact us if you're unsure whether your bike is suitable.
